Genesis Jazz Orchestra To Be Featured On 'Twin Cities Weekend'

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — Genesis Jazz Orchestra, an ensemble of Rosemount Community Band with members from Rosemount, Apple Valley and Eagan, announced that it will be featured on the "Twin Cities Weekend" radio program.

The Twin Cities Weekend programs that feature the GJO will be broadcast on Monday at 8:20 p.m. and Thursday at 11:20 a.m. and 5:20 p.m. on KBEM-FM (88.5 FM) Minneapolis and streamed at www.jazz88.fm, the ensemble said. The show informs listeners about musical performances in the area and GJO said it will include an interview and some of the ensemble's concert recordings.

KBEM-FM (88.5 FM) Minneapolis, "Minnesota's Jazz Station," boasts being "one of the highest-rated full-time jazz stations in the nation and an Ampers Station of the Year recipient," the ensemble said.
