Girls Swimmers From Eastview, Apple Valley High Schools Advance to Section Finals
Apple Valley High School's Delaney McDonald placed first in the 200 IM and 100 breaststroke at the girls swimming section 2AA preliminary races.

Several and girls swimmers advanced to Friday's section 2AA finals with their performance in Wednesday's section preliminary races, held at Hidden Oaks Middle School in Prior Lake.
Apple Valley's Delaney McDonald placed first in the 200-yard IM and 100 breaststroke prelims, and Eastview's Kelsey Deinhammer placed second in the 50 freestyle.

- 50 freestyle: Katherine Wright, fourth place; Stephanie Bierman, fifth place
- 100 freestyle: Stephanie Bierman, fourth place
- 100 backstroke: Katherine Wright, third place
Other top qualifiers for Eastview include:
- 200 freestyle: Leah Anderson, sixth place
- 200 IM: Emily Kilen, seventh place
- 100 butterfly: Kristin Podratz, fifth place
- 100 freestyle: Kelsey Deinhammer, fifth place; Leah Anderson, sixth place
- 500 freestyle: Emily Kilen, seventh place
- 100 breaststroke: Kristin Podratz, fifth place
Bloomington Jefferson and Kennedy and Lakeville and , as well as Burnsville and Prior Lake, join Apple Valley and Eastview in the section.
