Man Charged with Making Drunken Pass at Apple Valley Taco Bell Employee
Nathan Halverson is accused of trying to "spice up the night" at an Apple Valley Taco Bell.
A Lakeville man has been charged with drunk driving and stalking after a Taco Bell drive-through employee responded No Quiero to his sexual advances.
Nathan A. Halverson, 26, is accused of ignoring the female employee's rebuff and waiting for her in the parking lot of the Taco Bell, flashing his car's headlights through the windows of the fast food restaurant.
Halverson pulled into the drive-through of the Apple Valley Taco Bell on 150th Street West a little after 2 a.m. Friday, the Pioneer Press reported, citing the criminal complaint.

Halverson didn't order food at the speaker and proceeded to the window, where he asked the employee for her phone number and "said he wanted her to come home with him after she got off work," according to the complaint. The employee told Apple Valley police she didn't know Halverson.
When he was told to leave, Halverson responded that he planned to wait for the employee until her shift was over.

The employee asked her manager to call police after Halverson started flashing his car's high beams.
Apple Valley Police found Halverson in his car with slurred speech and bloodshot eyes. With a recorded blood-alcohol percentage of .15, apparently he would have done well to ease up on the firewater and focus on the fire sauce.
Halverson has two previous drunk-driving convictions, and last year he was charged with going door-to-door in a Farmington hotel, looking for alcohol and sexually assaulting a female guest, according to Sun Thisweek.
He is due in court on May 23.
