Man Steals Water Bottle At Knifepoint At Dakota County Park: Sheriff

The man didn't make any threats or demand anything else, the Sheriff's Office said.

DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — At Schaar’s Bluff in Nininger Township on Sunday evening, a man stole a pair of walkers' water bottle at knife point, according to the Dakota County Sheriff's Office.

The man didn't make any threats or demand anything else, the Sheriff's Office said.

Officials said they believe this is an isolated incident and that there is no ongoing threat to the public. Detectives are investigating the incident, according to officials.

"The Sheriff’s Office would like to remind you to be aware of your surroundings as you enjoy your summer," The Sheriff's Office tweeted. "The Dakota County parks and waterways are patrolled by deputies and park rangers to help make sure everyone has a safe and enjoyable experience."
