Man's Body Found In Apple Valley Pond

APPLE VALLEY, MN — A 66-year-old man's body was found in an Apple Valley pond around noon on Friday, according to a news release from Dakota County sheriff's office.

He was found by a passerby in the pond adjacent to Galaxie Park, and both Apple Valley police and the sheriff's office responded to the report, authorities said.

The man's death is still under investigation, but no foul play is suspected, officials said. The man's identity is being withheld pending notification of his family, according to authorities.
