Pedestrian Killed In Rosemount Crash ID'd

The 73-year-old who was hit by a car in Rosemount on Dec. 1 has been identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

ROSEMOUNT, MN — The 73-year-old pedestrian who was hit by a car in Rosemount last week has been identified by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.

Stephen Lee Andrews, a Rosemount resident, was hit by a car on the intersection of 155th St W and Chippendale Avenue on the evening of Dec. 1, Rosemount Police Department said.

Officers began CPR and called for air medical support when they arrived, but Andrews was declared dead at the scene, police said.

The driver of the car, whom police said was cooperative and remained on scene was released pending further investigation.
