Police Search For 10-Month-Old In Shakopee

Authorities believe the 10-month-old child went missing in downtown Shakopee.

SHAKOPEE, MN — Police are asking for the public's help in the search for a 10-month-old child they believe went missing in downtown Shakopee.

The child is a Black male with black hair and is wearing a "Mickey Mouse" onesie and red paints, authorities said.

The suspect in the case is a 25-year-old Black woman named Zanitra Zafira Forester, according to investigators. She may be wearing a black bandana and leggings, a light gray hoody, a gray tank top with a "Patagonia" backpack, and black sandels, authorities said.

Police listed two possible suspect vehicles: A 2012 blue Jeep Grand Cherokee with the license plate "EVT766," and a 2015 Blue Kia Optima with a license plate "HVU436."

Anyone with information related to this case is asked to call 911. Police have not yet provided a photo in the case.
