Regan Smith Wins Silver In 200-Meter Butterfly

Smith also took home a bronze medal Tuesday in the 100-meter backstroke.

LAKEVILLE, MN — Regan Smith, an Olympic swimmer from Lakeville, won a silver medal in the women's 200-meter butterfly event at the Tokyo Olympics.

U.S. swimmer Hali Flickinger also placed in the event, taking home bronze.

Smith also took home a bronze medal Tuesday morning in the 100-meter backstroke.

Smith was a former record holder in the event, before it was demolished by gold medalist Kaylee McKeown, of Australia.
