Romance novel fans can meet four local authors and hear them talk about their work at the Library’s summer romance series.
If romantic films are more your thing, the Burnhaven Library is where you’ll want to be spend your afternoons. Julie Klassen, award-winning romance and fiction author of The Silent Governess and The Girl in the Gatehouse, will speak on Tuesday, June 12, 7–8 p.m., Farmington Library, 508 Third Street, Farmington.
Kara Jorges, author of Nights in Cuzco, will talk about how she creates her characters on Wednesday, June 13, 7–8 p.m., Wescott Library, 1340 Wescott Road, Eagan.

New York Times best-selling author Connie Brockway will speak on Thursday, June 21, 7–8 pm, at Heritage Library, 20085 Heritage Dr., Lakeville.
Lois Greiman, author of Charming the Devil, will talk about writing romance novels while raising three children and caring for 15 horses, on Tuesday, Aug. 7, 7–8 pm, Wentworth Library, 199 E. Wentworth Ave., West St. Paul.

The summer romance film series features Now Voyageur starring Bette Davis on Wednesday, June 27, Sabrina starring Audrey Hepburn on Wednesday, July 11, Arabesque starring Sophia Loren on Wednesday, July 25, and The Proposal starring Sandra Bullock on Wednesday, Aug. 8. It will take place at the Burnhaven Library, 1101 W. County Road 42, Burnsville. All showings are 2–4 p.m.
