Rosemount Community Band, RAVE Brass To Play Annual Concert Sunday
The annual Christmas Concert will take place Sunday at The Well United Methodist Church.

ROSEMOUNT, MN — Rosemount Community Band
and RAVE Brass will play their annual Christmas Concert on Sunday at The Well United Methodist Church in Rosemount, RAVE Brass said in a news release.
RAVE Brass said it will open for Rosemount Community band, and begin its performance at 3:30 p.m. Rosemount Community Band will begin at 4 p.m., the ensemble said.

Both RAVE Brass and Rosemount Community Band encourage concert attendees to donate diapers, pull-ups and baby wipes for the Rosemount Resource Center, in support of The Well's December tradition.
RAVE is a brass ensemble made up of musicians from Rosemount, Apple Valley and Eagan, it said. All members are also part of Rosemount Community Band, RAVE Brass said.

Rosemount Community Band was formed in 2011 by current director John Zschunke, RAVE Brass said. The Community Band is made up of volunteer post-high school musicians throughout Dakota County, according to the news release.
RCB also awards the annual Steve Olsen Scholarship to a senior at Rosemount High School who is planning to major in music in college, RAVE Brass said.
