Rosemount Native Preps for 1st Full Season as USHL Head Coach

Josh Hauge, who this year is going into his first full season as a head coach in the United States Hockey League, has climbed the ladder to a dream job in hockey.

During the last season of the United States Hockey League, Rosemount native Josh Hauge became head coach mid-season and took the team that had a 6-15-0 record and finished out the season with a 5-2-0 record.

Hauge, who is 32, later this year will coach the USHL's Tri-City Storm through a full season of games, a job that is "truly a dream come true," he told the Grand Island Independent in Nebraska.

Hauge quickly and successfully climbed the ladder with hockey leagues and teams around the nation to get where he is today, from St. Paul to Dubuque and Fairbanks, Alaska, to central Nebraska, according to the story about Hauge in the Independent.
