Rosemount Patch to Launch New Blog Platform; Looking for Bloggers

Passionate about issues in Rosemount? Things at City Hall have you annoyed? Like to people-watch and describe what you see? Enjoy writing about cooking or hobbies? Let's talk.

In addition to providing some of the best local news coverage in town, Rosemount Patch also wants to be a home for local voices.

So, we're launching a blogging platform the week of May 2 — and we're looking for strong community voices who want to join us.

The blog will be more free-wheeling than the Rosemount Patch homepage; it will be a place where readers can check out what local voices have to say about goings on in the community and elsewhere. For the most part, if it's legal, it goes. We want the bloggers to own their blogs.

In fact, Rosemount Patch will not own the blog content, meaning authors can repost their stuff on other sites, but bloggers will be unpaid.

If you are passionate about anything, whether it's education, fishing, government, business, shopping or pets (literally, anything), are a prolific writer and have a strong voice, then you should write for Rosemount Patch's new blog.
