Rosemount School Reports New Coronavirus Outbreak
In all, six schools in Dakota County have reported outbreaks in the past 28 days.
ROSEMOUNT, MN— A middle school has reported a new outbreak of COVID-19, the Minnesota Department of Health reported Thursday.
Rosemount Middle School reported five or more cases of COVID-19 the department said.
In order to be added to the Minnesota Department of Health's list, a school must report at least five cases of a student or staff member being inside the building while infectious and within the two-week reporting period, the department said.

If a school goes 28 days with no new cases, they are removed from the list, the department said.
Five other schools in Dakota County: Apple Valley Senior High School, Red Pine Elementary School, East Lake Elementary School, St. Thomas Academy and Holy Trinity, were also on the list, the department said.
