Rosemount Woman Charged with Felony Drug Possession
Authorities say they found cocaine, methamphetamine and amphetamines in Louise Calistro Hom's Rosemount house.

A Rosemount woman has been charged with felony drug possession after police say they found cocaine, methamphetamine and amphetamines in her home.
Louise Calistro Hom, 44, faces three felony counts of fifth-degree drug possession, each of which carries a maximum penalty of five years in prison and a $10,000 fine.
Hom is free on her promise to make all future court appearances. An omnibus hearing in her case is scheduled Feb. 6 in Dakota County District Court in Hastings.

According to the criminal complaint, a confidential informant contacted an agent with the Dakota County Drug Task Force on Nov. 3 and said that Hom wanted to meet to make up for “shorting” the informant on a sale two days earlier.
The informant agreed to meet Hom in Rosemount, and agents arrested her.

Authorities executed a search warrant at Hom’s house in the 14600 block of Canada Avenue on Nov. 4. Inside a safe in Hom’s bedroom, police found a plastic bag containing white crystal powder and a white rock substance wrapped in paper.
Agents also searched Hom’s purse, and found two zipper bags containing a white crystal substance in her wallet.
Hom admitted to agents that she had marijuana in her possession and had sold it to the confidential informant the day before.
The drugs found in Hom’s house tested positive for amphetamines, cocaine and methamphetamine.
