Rosemount's Otterdahl Places 10th In Olympic Shot Put

The U.S. snagged both gold and silver in this event.

ROSEMOUNT, MN — Rosemount High School alum Payton Otterdahl placed 10th in the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Shot Put event with a distance of 20.32 meters.

The U.S. Track and Field Team took home both gold and silver with distances of 23.30 meters by Ryan Crouser and 22.65 meters by Joe Kovacs.

Otterdahl previously competed for North Dakota State University, where he is now a coach, according to a report from The Star Tribune.
