DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — School is cancelled Friday for all ISD 196 students, the district announced.

The district cited the shortage of bus drivers and the snowstorm that is hitting Dakota County on Friday as the reason for the cancellation.

  • School-Age Care (SAC)
  • All community education activities
  • Adult Basic Education (ABE)
  • Transition Plus
  • Early Childhood Special Education(ECSE)
  • Early Childhood Family Education(ECFE)
  • All after-school activities for elementary and middle school

A decision about after school activities for the high school will be made Friday afternoon and will be posted on the district website and social media, ISD 196 said.
