Show Us Apple Valley's Best Fall Colors

Upload your photos of autumn scenes around Apple Valley, or wherever else you might travel.

Apple Valley's fall foliage is in the 10-25 percent peak color range right now, according to the Minnesota Department of Natural Resources, but it's not too soon to see some of nature's colorful autumn beauty (even though it's been feeling a little more like summer than fall).

A good amount of rain during the growing season for two consecutive years, as well as a recent combination of warm, sunny days and cool evenings, leads to the prediction for an especially vivid display of autumn color across the state, according to Jana Albers, DNR forest health specialist.

I'd love to see your photos of the beautiful fall scenery and share them with other readers; upload photos—or, say, a video of the family playing in a leaf pile—to this story by clicking the green "Add your photos & videos" link under the photos already posted.
