Winner Of Meadow Ridge Decorating Contest Announced

ROSEMOUNT, MN — The winner of the Meadow Ridge Porch Decorating Contest has been announced.

The Case family, whose entry was "Woodland Wonderland" is donating to the bereavement fund at Mayo Clinic, Jennifer Case told the contest's organizer, Jennifer Lowman.

Each house that entered the contest donated $10 and the winner got to choose which charity to donate the total funds to.

"Our donation is going to the bereavement fund at Mayo Clinic where I am both a Labor and Delivery and a Bereavement Nurse," Case said. "The funds will buy supplies for our grieving families and help make memories and molds of tiny hands and feet for the parents. This 200.00 will go a long way, and be so appreciated. All the materials for this fund are raised or donated by our RNs and not paid for by Mayo."

19 houses took part in the contest, and others donated without taking part.
