• Crow Wing County board expected to vote on Mission LID (brainerddispatch.com) — Crow Wing County commissioners are set to vote Tuesday night on creating a Mission Lakes Lake Improvement District that would add up to a $250 annual charge for affected property owners. Residents packed a November hearing with sharply divided views on whether more coordinated funding will actually improve lake health, and one speaker even warned that failing lakes could eventually ease today’s traffic headaches in Baxter.
