• Arrests, sentencings, DNR report for Dec. 11 (hometownsource.com) — A Becker resident was recently arrested on a DWI charge, and Sherburne County deputies are investigating a significant copper wire theft in Becker Township worth more than $5,000. The roundup also lists other Wright and Sherburne County arrests, court sentencings, and DNR safety reminders about poor early-season ice conditions.
   

• Terry Lee Degn, 72, Becker (wjon.com) — Becker residents are mourning the passing of 72-year-old Terry Lee Degn, a longtime community member remembered for his kindness, love of fishing, and devotion to the Vikings. Born in Waconia and a 35-year Model Landscaping employee, he is survived by his wife, children, stepfamily, and siblings. Per his wishes, no public service will be held.
