• Accessibility project contract approved to benefit Achieve Services (hometownsource.com) — State funding is bringing nearly $200,000 in accessibility upgrades to Achieve Services’ space at Anoka County’s Blaine Human Services Center, with construction set for January through March. The project will update restrooms, work and dining areas, and a client day room while Achieve continues serving 180 adults with developmental disabilities in Blaine. 
• 4 Anoka-Hennepin high schools to hold 2026 commencement at U.S. Bank Stadium (hometownsource.com) — Families with Blaine High School seniors in 2026 should plan for graduation at U.S. Bank Stadium on May 31, after the University of Minnesota stopped hosting high school ceremonies. Anoka-Hennepin officials say the one-year move, affecting more than 2,500 students, balances cost, capacity, weather backup, and keeping Blaine’s long-planned date and schedule intact.
