• Officers involved in exchange of gunfire near Mall of America identified by BCA (kstp.com) — Bloomington police officers involved in a recent exchange of gunfire near the Mall of America have now been publicly identified, and the suspect faces multiple serious charges. Investigators say officers attempted a traffic stop, used a PIT maneuver, and returned fire after shots were allegedly fired from the suspect’s car. All involved officers are on standard critical incident leave during the ongoing review.

Kandiyohi County Commissioner Roger Imdieke was honored as one of two Minnesota County Commissioners of the Year, recognizing his service to counties statewide.
