• Layoffs at Danish vacuum maker to be completed 2 months earlier than planned (bringmethenews.com) — Nilfisk is closing its Brooklyn Park manufacturing facility on Winnetka Avenue North, meaning 105 local employees will lose their jobs sooner than first expected, with all layoffs now set to be finished by May 1, 2026. The Danish vacuum and floor-cleaner maker is ending U.S. manufacturing and shifting production of several machines to Mexico, leaving the large Northcross West warehouse building up for sale. 
• Sharon "Kip" Ann Carroll (themonroetimes.com) — Brooklyn Park readers may recognize the Carroll family name, as Sharon “Kip” Carroll is survived by her son Dennis Carroll of Brooklyn Park, along with her husband, three other children, and many grandchildren and great-grandchildren. The longtime Mary Kay director and beloved matriarch, originally from Wisconsin, died November 17 at age 86, with a celebration of life to be held at a later date.
