According to the criminal complaint, Burnsville police were called to a Burnsville hotel just after midnight Saturday by a woman who said she was at the hotel with Blase and another couple.

When police arrived, Blase admitted that he had taken the victim’s phone and put it under the bed, and said he had a verbal argument with her. He told police that he decided he wanted to go to sleep and asked the victim to put on her pajamas; he said she became “emotional” and that he “hugged her and tried to get her to talk to him,” according to the complaint.
