Burnsville Police Urge Public’s Help After Man Charged In Sex Assaults Of Minors
Teodros Pluntz, 19, is accused of assaulting two underage girls and posting explicit videos online, according to court documents.

BURNSVILLE, MN — Burnsville police are asking for the public’s help after a 19-year-old man was charged in two separate sexual assault cases involving underage victims, including one in which he is accused of posting explicit videos online.
Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are asking anyone who may have been in contact with Teodros Raymond Pluntz to come forward.

Pluntz, of Burnsville, faces felony charges in two cases. One for first-degree criminal sexual conduct and another for third-degree criminal sexual conduct.
If convicted of the first-degree charge, Pluntz faces up to 30 years in prison and a $40,000 fine.

In one case, a 16-year-old girl told police that Pluntz picked her up from her Shakopee home in September, drove her to his parents’ house in Burnsville, and assaulted her after she began feeling dizzy from alcohol, according to the criminal complaint.
The victim reported waking up in pain, with bruises and other injuries, according to the complaint.
In a separate case, a 15-year-old girl reported that she met Pluntz through a social media app called Wizz, police said.
She told investigators that Pluntz recorded sexual encounters with her and posted the videos publicly on X.
Detectives seized several phones and electronic devices from Pluntz’s home, which are being examined by the department’s Electronic Crimes Unit.
Pluntz was booked into the Dakota County Jail on Sept. 22, where he remains held on a combined $400,000 bail, records show. His next court appearance is scheduled for Nov. 13 in Hastings.
