Dakota-Scott Workforce Development Board Appoints New Member
The appointment of the new member was approved by the Board on June 7.
DAKOTA COUNTY, MN — The Dakota-Scott Workforce Development Board recently appointed a new member, Dakota County said.
Kari Switala will represent the private sector, the county said. Her appointment was approved by the Board June 7, according to the county.
“I am passionate about small business and helping connect individuals within the small business community to resources they need," Switala said.

Switala is chief creative officer and owner of Wild Fig Marketing, the county said. She oversees business operations and manages marketing strategies for clients, according to Dakota County.
According to Dakota County, the Board oversees training and employment programs in Dakota and Scott Counties. It is a state leader in developing innovative programs in Burnsville, West St. Paul and Shakopee, the county said.
