Music of Graduation

A short video with clips of the music at Burnsville High's graduation on Friday.

In 2011, the musical celebration of Burnsville High's graduating class went far beyond "Pomp and Circumstance."

This year's program included three additional musical interludes by student performers. The Concert Choir sang a rousing version of our national anthem and "You Are the New Day," a composition by John David and Peter Knight.

Later in the program, Tori MacDonald and Brenna Sullivan sang Taylor Swift's "Long Live," accompanied by Zack Deaven and Dan Smith. Unfortunately, Patch's video camera began to run out of juice by this time, so we did not get footage of the performance. Our apologies to the performers.
