• Koznick applauds major transportation wins for south metro (hometownsource.com) — Burnsville drivers can expect major safety and congestion improvements along Highway 13, with $17.9 million slated for new interchanges and overpasses in Burnsville and Savage. The funding is part of a broader $76.2 million MnDOT package championed by Rep. Jon Koznick for south metro projects. These upgrades aim to ease traffic, support freight movement, and prepare the area for continued growth.
   

• Century standout travels through Europe with Northern Lights Volleyball club team (allusanewshub.com) — A Burnsville-based Northern Lights Volleyball 16-1 club team just returned from a successful European tour, winning a major tournament in Austria and placing third in the Netherlands. The roster, which draws players from high schools across Minnesota, includes standout setter Laney Stellmaker, who recently surpassed 1,000 career assists and continues to shine on the court.
   

• Jack's Caregiver Coalition (nextavenue.org) — A Burnsville resident, Kyle Woody, turned his family’s cancer caregiving crisis into Jack’s Caregiver Coalition, a Minneapolis nonprofit focused on supporting mostly male caregivers. The group offers support groups, one-on-one mentoring, social outings, and grief programs, with some in-person services in the Twin Cities and virtual options across the U.S. and Canada.
