PATCH MATCH: Kids Looking for Mentors
Over 60 kids in the southern suburbs are looking for a friend. Could it be you?

Interests: He enjoys being out in nature, biking, skateboarding, snowboarding, and football.
Personality/Characteristics: Sean is talkative, polite, intelligent and inquisitive. He is a big helper at home with mom and young sister. He is alone a lot and does not have the opportunity to do activities.
Goals/Dreams: He will be in 7th grade in the fall and his wish is to build something with wood – learn about carpentry!
Looking For: Sean is looking for an individual male mentor or a couple to mentor him.
For More Information: This child is one of 66 children currently waiting for a mentor through Kids ‘n Kinship, a private non-profit serving Burnsville, Apple Valley, Eagan, Farmington, Lakeville and Rosemount in Dakota County for 39 years. If you're interested in becoming a mentor, you're invited to attend an information session on July 28, 6-6:45 p.m. at the Burnhaven Library in Burnsville. Mentors can volunteer as individuals, couples, or families for weekly fun and enriching activities at home or in the community on their own schedules.
