• Champlin Hosts Frostbite 500 Trout Ice Fishing Contest on February 7 (hoodline.com) — Champlin is gearing up for its Frostbite 500 Trout Ice Fishing Contest on February 7, 2026, at Champlin Trout Pond, with a backup date of February 14. Residents can register online through the City of Champlin, but spots are capped at 500 anglers, and youth under 16 must fish with an adult and hold proper Minnesota trout licensing.
