Backed by a county opioid settlement grant, the program is already serving more than 50 local clients, improving appointment attendance and keeping more people out of jail while leaders hope to expand the model statewide.
   

2. Detroit Lakes golf tournament raises $12,000 for veterans (dl-online.com) — A long-running Detroit Lakes golf tournament at Forest Hills Golf Course raised $12,000 this past June to support veterans, including residents of the Fergus Falls Veterans Home.
