Duluth teen sentenced for assaulting homeless man with rock (duluthnewstribune.com) — A 16-year-old from Duluth received an extended juvenile jurisdiction sentence for a violent August assault on a homeless man near Canal Park, with an adult prison term stayed if he follows strict probation conditions. The judge ordered treatment, intensive supervision, school or work requirements, and community service, while the victim described lasting trauma from the attack in a written statement.
