10-year-old Triple Threat in the Running for Funfest Ambassador
Alexa Lutz-Chase, a student at Friendly Hills Middle School, is a budding musician, gymnast and Mandarin speaker.
Editor's Note: The following was provided by Eagan's July 4th Funfest Committee. In 2013, there are 13 candidates hoping to become ambassadors for the fest. The coronation will take place on July 8.

Why do you wish to be an Eagan Funfest Ambassador?
I really like living in Eagan and I want to be more involved by representing the city at events.
Favorite Eagan Activities:
The Eagan Marketfest because I like to see the beautiful flower bouquets and I like the bubble tea. Another favorite attraction is my Grandpa’s railroad garden. Sometimes Granpa lets me run the trains.
Candidate Information:
The activities that I participate in are choir, piano and flute. I also take Mandarin Chinese and gymnastics. I altar serve at church and volunteer at Commons on Marice a few times a month. In the summer I help out at Grandpa’s open house at his railroad garden.
