2020 Census Results: Here's How Much Eagan Grew
Minnesota as a whole grew 7.6 percent since 2010.
EAGAN, MN — Minnesota grew 7.6 percent, or just over 402,000 people, since 2010, according to data released Thursday by the United States Census Bureau.
This brings Minnesota's total population to over 5.7 million people.
Eagan grew just over seven percent since 2010, with its current population being 68,855.

The data shows that Dakota County grew 10.4 percent, or 41,330 people, since 2010 bringing the county's population to 439,882.
As of 2020, Dakota County's population density is 782.0 people per square mile, data shows.
