Caponi Art Park and Learning Center will host local and regional artists on Tuesday mornings throughout the summer as part of its Family Fun Tuesdays series. During the weekly series, children and families will explore various art forms and world cultures through a wide variety of interactive performances in the Art Park’s sculpture garden. Visitors are invited to stay after the performance to explore the park on their own or enjoy a picnic lunch on the lawn.
The Family Fun Tuesdays program is geared towards children ages 3-12 with a parent or guardian; childcare and schools groups must call ahead for space availability and fees. All events take place Tuesday mornings from 10 – 11 a.m. The events are free, with a $4 per person suggested donation to help make the Family Fun Tuesdays series possible. Performances will take place under a canopy in the event of rain and will be canceled in severe weather. Any weather-related announcements will be made via the park’s website, Facebook, and Twitter page.
