The Minnesota High Tech Association has selected State Senator Ted Daley as a recipient of its 2012 Award for Public Service, which honors individuals who provide outstanding service to advance technology and innovation in Minnesota.
The award is a “well deserved recognition for the leading role you played in advancing technology within state government,” the association told Senator Daley.
“Specifically we would like to recognize your leadership in consolidating Minnesota’s information technology services and your on-going support of this effort.”
Senator Daley will receive the Tekne Award at a dinner November 1, 2012 which is expected to attract 1,000 business, technology and political leaders from across the state and all technology areas. The Minnesota High Tech Association represents more than 350 technology companies and organizations and works to fuel Minnesota’s prosperity through innovation and technology. Thomson Reuters of Eagan is a finalist for this year’s Tekne Award in the area technology services and consulting.
