The Dakota County Community Development Agency (CDA) and Presbyterian Homes and Services will be hosting a grand opening and dedication at Valley Ridge on Thursday, October 18, 2012 from 1 to 4 p.m. Valley Ridge is the CDA's 26th development in its Senior Housing Program and third in Burnsville. Valley Ridge is a collaborative endeavor of the Dakota County CDA and Presbyterian Homes and Services. The senior housing campus contains 80 independent living affordable rental apartments and 60 assisted living and memory care apartments. Special remarks begin at 3 p.m. starting with a welcome by Thomas A. Egan, Dakota County Commissioner and Dakota County CDA Board Chair. Elizabeth Kautz, Mayor of Burnsville; Liz Workman, Dakota County Commissioner and CDA Commissioner; Robert J. Alpers, former CDA Commissioner and Daniel A. Lindh, CEO of Presbyterian Homes and Services will also speak. Guests are invited to tour units to see everything Valley Ridge has to offer. Valley Ridge is located at 1921 Burnsville Parkway West.
