Winter Wonders Classes

Kids can explore winter wonders during two winter science programs led by Professor Sepoc. Dakota County Parks and Dakota County Library have joined together to present the programs for children age 8–12 and their caregiver.

Winter Wonders: Dry Ice will occur Thursday, Jan.12, 6:30–7:30 p.m. at the Camp Sacajawea Retreat Center, 5121 McAndrews Road, Apple Valley. Program guest Professor Sepoc will teach this hands-on workshop about the “coolness” of dry ice.

Winter Wonders: Snow Globes will occur Thursday, Jan. 19, 6:30–7:30 p.m., Dakota Lodge, Thompson Park, 1200 Stassen Lane, West St. Paul. Professor Sepoc guides caregivers and kids through the creation of a homemade snow globe while examining the solubility of different materials.
