HASTINGS, MN — A dead body was found near the site of a fire in Hastings, the city said.Fire personnel were dispatched to a fire at Jaycee Park boat landing early Saturday morning, where they found a wooden enclosure on fire, city officials said. Once the fire was extinguished, a dead body was found nearby, city officials said.The incident is being investigated by the Hastings Police Department, MN Bureau of Criminal Apprehension, State Fire Marshal and Hennepin County Medical Examiner, city officials said.Identity of the body and cause of death will be released by the Hennepin County Medical Examiner.
