Eagan Art Block To Kick Off Saturday
This year's Art Block will take place Sept. 11-25.
EAGAN, MN — Eagan Art Block kicks off Saturday and will go until Sept. 25, featuring 16 community co-hosts and over 30 events throughout the city, the city of Eagan said.
Eagan's annual art festival is on its 25th year, bringing thousands of people together to celebrate art, the city said.
The economic impact of art in Eagan is nearly $5 million annually, the city said.

Sept. 11-Eagan Art Block Kickoff at Eagan Art House from 10 a.m.-12 p.m.

Sept. 19-Raku Pottery Firing at Eagan Art House from 12-3 p.m.
Sept. 23- A Celebration of Music Featuring Torres-Peña at Wescott Library from 5-7 p.m.
New this year-Yarn the Block! Knitted street art will be popping up around Eagan. You can follow #yarntheblock to see the art popping up in surprise locations.

Eagan is home to seven arts organizations, and there are over 36 pieces of public art displayed throughout the city, Eagan said.
