Eagan Community Foundation Seeks Volunteers For Festival
Volunteers will check IDs, distribute wristbands and distribute cans of beer at the Foundation's craft beer area at the Food Truck Festival.
EAGAN, MN — The Eagan Community Foundation is seeking volunteers for the Eagan Food Truck Festival on Aug. 13.
The city is allowing the Eagan Community Foundation to run a craft beer area at the event as a fundraiser, the foundation said.
The foundation is looking for volunteers to check IDs, distribute wristbands and open and distribute cans of beer, Jamie Hopkins, executive director of the Eagan Community Foundation said. Cashiers are also needed, but these positions will be filled later, she said.

Most of the volunteer positions involve a lot of standing, but potential volunteers can write in the comments section of the sign-up form if they are unable to stand for long periods of time, Hopkins said.
There will be an optional online Alcohol Sales Training July 14 at 6:00 p.m., Hopkins said.
