Eagan Funfest Ambassadors Seeking Applicants For 2022-23

Eagan's July 4 Funfest is seeking applicants for its Funfest Ambassador Scholarship Program.

EAGAN, MN — Eagan's July 4 Funfest announced that it is seeking applicants for its Ambassador Scholarship Program for 2022-23.

The Funfest Ambassadors represent Eagan at virtual outlets and parades, festivals and coronations, as well as volunteering, the Funfest Board said.

Junior ambassadors, ages 10-13, will receive a $500 scholarship at the end of their reign, the board said. Ambassadors ages 14-18 will receive a $2,000 scholarship, according to the Funfest Board.

The candidate process will begin in May and will last six weeks, the board said. Candidates must live in, attend school or worship in Eagan, or live in Apple Valley, Burnsville, Mendota, Mendota Heights, Rosemount or Sunfish Lake, according to the board.

There will be an informational session at Eagan Community Center on May 11 at 7 p.m., the Funfest Board said.
