-A caller in the 4200 block of Braddock Trail reported that someone smashed out the back window of a minivan overnight.

-A caller in the 4300 block of Jasper Drive reported that someone smashed out the back window of a minivan overnight, possibly using a baseball bat.

-Police responded to an accident at Elrene Road and Wescott Road in which a motorist hit a deer.

-A caller in the 2000 block of Diffley Road reported that someone smashed out a window in a vehicle overnight.

-A caller in the 4400 block of Oak Chase Lane reported that a delivery driver backed into a stone column in his yard and damaged it.

-A caller in the 2800 block of Lexington Avenue reported that her 31-year-old son was upset and throwing things. Police spoke to the man, who agreed to leave the house for a while.

-A caller in the 2000 block of Silver Bell Road reported that someone stole his Ford Fusion from his apartment complex. The caller said a spare set of keys to the car were stolen over the weekend when someone broke into a number of vehicles in the underground parking garage.

-An employee of Cub Foods in the 1900 block of Cliff Lake Road reported a 25-year-old shoplifter in custody. Police found DVDs, CDs and a Craftsman saw in his possession that they believed were stolen, and said the man will be formally charged with theft and possession of drugs and drug paraphernalia.

-Police responded to a reported suicide attempt in the 3500 block of Federal Drive. A man told police that his brother-in-law had sent suicidal text messages and photos that showed him cutting himself with knives that he used in culinary school. The messages said his knives were sharpened and he was cutting himself “to prepare.” Police found the man with superficial wounds on his left arm and arranged for him to be transported to a hospital.

-A caller in the 4300 block of Kirsten Court reported that someone smashed the window out of a vehicle overnight.

-A caller at Diffley Road and Pilot Knob Road reported a car weaving on the road and driving over a curb. The caller said the female driver had parked the car, gotten out and started taking off her clothes; she was barefoot and wearing a jogging bra when she got back into her car, the caller said. Police found the woman “extremely impaired” and arranged for her to be transported to a hospital. Formal charges are pending.

-Police responded to a two-vehicle accident at Lexington Avenue and Lone Oak Road and cited one driver for causing the rear-end accident.

-A caller in the 4400 block of Oak Chase Way reported that someone had stolen mail from a mailbox for the second straight day.

-A caller in the 1400 block of Skyline Road reported that a 23-year-old man had injected cocaine into his arm and wasn’t cooperating with family members who were trying to take him to the hospital. The man was taken to a hospital.

-A caller in the 800 block of Golden Meadow Road reported that someone broke a window in a vehicle overnight.

-Police stopped a vehicle at Interstate 35E and Yankee Doodle Road and cited the driver and passenger for possession of marijuana and drug paraphernalia. The driver was also cited for driving without insurance and having an expired vehicle registration.

-The Holiday station in the 4500 block of Nicols Road reported a $47.75 gasoline drive-off. Police determined that the license plate on the car was stolen.
