Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School Calendar 2017-18: First Day Of School, Vacations, Conferences

The first day of school in Eagan is September 5. Feel free to mark it on your calendar as one of the most dreaded days of the year for students and teachers — and feel free not to feel guilty about marking it as one of your favorites. The Burnsville-Eagan-Savage School District has released its 2017-2018 calendar for public schools.

The calendar includes important dates such as winter and spring vacations, religious holidays, federal holidays, early dismissals and parent-teacher conferences.

September

• 9/5: First Day (Except Kindergarten)
• 9/7: First Day for Kindergarten

October

• 10/16: No School for Students (Conference Prep)
• 10/17 - 10/18: No School for Students (Conferences)
• 10/19 - 10/20: No School for Students and Staff (Ed. MN)

November

• 11/6: No School for Students (Professional Day)
• 11/23 - 11/24: No School for Students and Staff (Fall Break)

December

• 12/21 - 1/1: No School for Students and Staff (Winter Break)

January

• 1/15: No School for Students and Staff (MLK, Jr. Day)
• 1/22: No School for Students (Professional Day), End of Semester

February

• 2/26 - 2/28: No School for Students (Spring Conferences and Teacher Prep)

March

• 3/12: No School for Students (Professional Day)
• 3/26 - 3/30: No School for Students and Staff (Spring Break)

May

• 5/28: No School for Students and Staff (Memorial Day)

June

• 6/7: Last Day of School
• 6/8: Graduation
