Photos: Workers Make Strides on Eagan Fire Station No. 1

Favorable weather is propelling the project along.

The past two weeks have been productive ones for construction workers building Eagan's new fire station.

The above photos — shared on the city's Facebook page Monday — show a now-enclosed Station One structure at Diffley and Blackhawk roads. The building was a mere shell last week before a crane secured its roof structure.

The facility will replace the original Station One, which was built in 1963, as well as Station Five on Galaxie Avenue.
