Pursuit, Crash In Eagan Leads To Arrest Of Two Juveniles: Police
The pursuit began after a shooting in Bloomington and ended in a crash in Eagan, police said.
EAGAN, MN — A pursuit that began after a shooting in Bloomington ended in a crash in Eagan and the arrest of two juveniles on Thursday, according to a news release from the Bloomington Police Department.
According to the police department, officers were pursuing a car suspected of being involved in a shooting at a residence in Bloomington Thursday evening. The pursuit ended when the car crashed into another car in Eagan, at the South Bound Hwy 77 and Cliff Road exit ramp, police said.
Two juveniles, the female driver and male passenger, were arrested and charged with 2nd degree assault, drive-by shooting, fleeing in a motor vehicle, and ineligible person in possession of a firearm, according to authorities.

Police said they found an AR-style pistol in the car.
The Bloomington Police Department said it is also investigating an attempted robbery that took place before the pursuit and working to see if the two incidents are connected.
