Wave Soccer Club Hires New Director Of Coaching

The former director of coaching is transitioning to the role of director of youth development.

EAGAN, MN — The Wave Soccer Club in Eagan announced that it hired a new director of coaching.

Arent Hiltermann played semi-pro soccer in the Netherlands, and has also been coaching soccer since he was 16, in both U.S. and international clubs, the Wave Soccer Club said. He was most recently Director of Operations at MN Eclipse Soccer Club, the Wave said.

"I love coaching soccer and have a real passion for working with kids of all ages and levels of ability," Hiltermann said. "I am honored to have been chosen for the DOC role at Wave SC and am looking forward to the opportunity to continue the club’s path of success."

Brie Rosga, former director of coaching, is transitioning into a new position-Director of Youth Development for the Wave, the club said.

"I truly value my experience as the DOC of Wave SC, but it was time for me to step back and resume my nursing career," Rosga said. "I am grateful to be able to continue in a leadership role for Wave Soccer Club as the Director of Youth Development. The role is a perfect fit for my skill set and I am excited to have the opportunity to continue developing our Wave SC youth."

Rosga and Hiltermann have already been working together to get the Wave ready for fall 2021, the club said.

"Brie has been instrumental in our Club’s success, charting a path forward with grit and determination," Lori Wohletz, Wave Soccer Club president, said. "The Wave SC Board of Directors is grateful for Brie’s contributions to our Club and the entire soccer community over the past year. We are ecstatic to have Arent’s vision and Brie’s continued leadership as we look into the future."
