What To Do In Eagan This Winter

EAGAN, MN — Looking for something to do this winter? The city of Eagan has rounded up all sorts of activities for the entire family.

Events:

• Frosty Festival: Bring your sleds to Eagan Community Center Festival Grounds at 5:30 p.m. on Jan. 28 for a night of music, cocoa and cookies, building snowmen and more. Get your tickets here.
• Sweetheart Dance: Kids under 12 and their favorite adults can attend the 2022 Sweetheart Dance at 5:30 p.m. on Feb. 25 at Eagan Community Center. The night will include dancing, a light dinner, crafts, photos and more. Tickets are available here.
• Eagan Indoor Market Fest: Swing by Eagan Community Center March 9 and April 13 between 4-7 p.m. to shop locally produced goods.

Other fun:

• ECC Fitness Center: The fitness center, located at the community center, offers over 40 group fitness classes per week and is home to 40+ cardio pieces, 30+ strength training pieces and squat racks. A membership will grant you access to the indoor track, gymnasium and open pickleball, basketball and volleyball. The city said there are also daily passes, punch cards and personal training packages available.
• Blast Indoor Playground: Open Tuesdays and Thursdays from 9 a.m.-noon for Preschool Blast and Play, where Open Gym is paired with the Blast. Daily admission is also available between 8 a.m.-8 p.m., and birthday parties can also be booked.
• Skating: Eagan has several outdoor rinks for skating.
• Tubing: Trapp Farm Park offers downhill tubing in the winter, available when there is more than 6-8 inches of snow on the ground. There are four time-slots per day. Tickets are available here.
• Eagan Skate School: Registration for skating classes opens February 7 at 9:00 a.m. Classes will be held at Eagan Civic Arena. Register here. Classes will be Feb. 28-April 23.
• Spring Ice Show: Join Eagan Skate School to participate in the show May 13-14. Register and buy tickets here.
• Eagan Art House: Eagan Art House hosts a variety of classes, special events, exhibitions and more.
• Skating at Eagan Civic Arena: Eagan Civic Arena has two indoor skating rinks and offers open skating, Club Sk8, open hockey, birthday parties, skating lessons and room rentals.
