EAGAN, MN — Eagan Police Department is participating in the DEA's National Drug Take Back Day on Saturday.

The day aims to get unused prescriptions off the streets and safely disposed of.

Eagan residents can turn in unused or expired medications Saturday at Eagan Police Department, Eagan PD said.

There will be a medication disposal box in the lobby of the police department from 10 a.m.-2 p.m., police said.

Medications should be kept in their original containers and have personal information taken off, according to police. Needles won't be accepted, police said.
