Young Builders And Designers Hosting 'Family History Competition'
Kids will get to design a project to create based on their family history.

EAGAN, MN — Young Builders and Designers in Eagan is hosting a Family History competition.
The program will focus on family history until June, and kids will get to develop a project based on their family history, according to the director of Young Builders and Designers Brian Kelley.
Projects can be made from Lego® parts or other items. The finished Lego® projects will be displayed in the window at the Lego® store if they win, Kelley said.

Two upcoming workshops are April 21 and 28 from 5-6 p.m. at Eagan Civic Center, Kelley said. Each workshop is $25, but partial sponsorships are available, he told Patch.
Young Builders and Designers is a design build program focused on teaching kids about the design and building trades through project-based learning, Kelley told Patch.
